Customer Concerns
The Key To Customer Concerns
Follow The Following Checklist
Ensure Enough Petrol in Petrol Tank and Tank Cap is securely closed
For Electric Start Machine, ensure Rechargeable Battery is charged
Ensure Spark Plug Switch is turned ON before pumping
Ensure sufficient Sparking (tick-tick sound) when spark plug switch is ON, else change batteries
Stop Pumping as soon as machine starts to avoid excess petrol being pumped into the system
Still the Machine does not Start, Go to Flooding Section to know if the engine is flooded.
Follow the following Checklist
1. For fogging ensure enough diesel/ Solution in the solution tank, and hold machine such that silencer points slightly down normally.
2. Before turning the machine off, ensure you have turned off fogging first (few seconds earlier).
3. If still there is No Fog, the outlet conduit needs to be checked for choke
4. Still issue not resolved, contact us. We will advise you accordingly.
1. There is petrol leakage from the engine just above the petrol tank?
This is an indication of OVERFLOW or FLOODING. Firstly, turn off the Fuel cock to stop further fuel from overflowing. If the petrol has reached into the engine and still it has not started, do not over-pump. Over-pumping will spill excess petrol into the engine which will come out from Air Control Valve, just above the petrol tank. This normally happens due to no/weak spark or excessive pumping.
2. How to Identify Flooding of Machine?
If the fuel is entering the Engine while you are pumping without any burning or machine starting sound, it represents FLOODING. In case of excessive FLOODING fuel may start dripping from Air Control Valve, just above the fuel tank.
3. What to do when Flooding of Machine happens?
a) Firstly, nothing has happened to the machine, please do not panic.
b) Since the root cause of Flooding is excess fuel into the engine, turn off the fuel valve.
c) Importantly, ensure that you turn on the ignition unit and the sparking sound is sufficiently loud.
d) The SPARK PLUG electrode gap must not have been reduced.
e) Now, with fuel cock off, pump air until you hear the fuel burning sound. Repeat pumping till you hear the machine running sound.
f) Although, the machine running sound must be heard, the machine will not run till we start the fuel cock.
Turn on the fuel cock and follow machine starting procedure. Repeat steps a to e, if machine floods again.
When I Pump, the petrol comes back down in the petrol pipe?
Do not worry, it is a normal phenomenon. It happens because the air which you pump goes into the fuel tank and fuel rises. When you take the handle back, fuel may come down. To avoid this take short and quick strokes. Until the petrol reaches into the engine and the engine starts, continuous flow of petrol is not established. Hence, until such time, petrol may come down.
My machine is getting Red Hot?
Every pulse jet engine becomes red hot, because it is burning fuel directly in the resonator at a temperature near 1000 degree centigrade. At such a temperature, steel becomes flame red. So this phenomenon is normal. Do not panic, the machine is designed for such temperatures.
The Spark Plug Fitted in my machine has more gap between its electrodes?
The Gap is more and it is correct as it is. In Suraksha pulse jet engines, spark plug gap is needed to be more, otherwise machine will not start.
